Ph plus raises the ph of water. The ph should be maintained between 7.2 and 7.6 for best sanitizer performance, reduced equipment corrosion, and reduced eye irritation or skin dryness.
The ph should be measured before each addition of sanitizer. To prevent excessive ph variation or buffering, maintain total alkalinity between 60 and 120ppm. Test for total alkalinity monthly with a 4-way test kit.
